Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens she portrayed the lead role in several dramas on television. After her critically acclaimed role in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. This film won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial great success. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this diva. Alexandra is known for her involvement in many notable projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. The projects include British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. In addition, she is juror at two festivals: the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
